DJ Josie Rock has always been passionate about music, but she is so much more than a musician. As a world traveler, spiritual seeker, and former professional athlete, her years of experience have made her the perfect image of the modern business woman. She is a consummate entertainer; a vibe creator who takes command of any room, relying on her deep knowledge of musical genres to guarantee a good time for every type of audience. 

Born and raised in Denver, CO, Josie was a magnetic child, always seeking ways to bring people together. She was naturally drawn to music and sports, enthralled by the sense of community they inspired. Diving headfirst into her interests, she began developing an ear for beats by distributing mixtapes and playlists around town. Her leadership ability continued to grow as she excelled in a variety of sports throughout high school. 

Josie got her first taste of the south when she enrolled at Auburn University in Alabama. She quickly became an integral part of the Auburn Tigers’ Women’s Volleyball team. Always gaining new knowledge, she developed an intense desire to explore the world and all it had to offer. Her wanderlust even led her to Italy, where she enjoyed a brief career as a professional Volleyball player. 

Upon returning to the USA, Josie started professionally DJ’ing in Columbus, GA. She began performing at clubs and events across the state, learning how to read a room, and developing an expertise in crowd control. Always seeking to branch out, she levied this experience into a radio career, landing a gig at a local station in the much coveted 5:00-7:00 PM time slot. Within six months, she had launched her own online station, entitled “Josieland Radio,” (now "Vibecreatorz Radio") as well “The Podcast Spot.” Both were much needed avenues to help her spread her voice and let other aspiring artists be heard.
